DESCRIPTION:Gather and Grow\n\n\n\nHealthy Communities Partnership and Chambersburg Cares Coalition invite you to join us for a lunchtime presentation.\n\n\n\nWe will be sharing the Pennsylvania Youth Survey data (PAYS) You might ask what is PAYS? \n\n\n\nSince 1989\, Pennsylvania has conducted a biennial survey of youth in 6th\,8th\,10th and 12th grades to gather information about their knowledge\, attitudes and behaviors towards alcohol\, tobacco and other drugs to help communities address root causes of antisocial behaviors. How does it impact you as a community member or business? These students are your future employees or will be providing services to you in the community. Being aware of trends can help you mitigate potential issues with employees. The parents of these students are your current employee mental health needs and substance misuse can lead to employee absenteeism. \n\n\n\nWe will also look at the work Healthy Communities Partnership is carrying out with the Opioid Settlement Grant. \n\n\n\nPlease join us to learn more!
