DESCRIPTION:IceFest 2014\n\n January 30\, 2014 through February 2\, 2014\n\n Celebrate IceFest!\n\n Pull out your favorite scarf and mittens\, bundle the kids up and be sure to grab your camera\; you won't want to miss the faces of those that sit upon the giant ice throne for the first time or stand beside their favorite sculpture. You can catch a glimpse of the carvers from DiMartino Ice sculpting right in front of your eyes! Skilled in their art from\, these carvers have trained for many years and can turn a plain block of ice into just about anything. It's amazing to watch. Live carving is Thursday and Friday night!\n\n Events are scheduled throughout the four-day festival and include\, but are not limited to\, the official ribbon-cutting ceremony (featuring the IceFest cake-cutting\; public welcome)\, live carvings\, Ballroom Dancing at the Snowfall Ball\, Chili Tasting at the Chili Cook-Off\, dunking at the Polar Dunk Plunge\, cake viewing and tasting at Icing on the cake\, slipping and sliding down the FREE ice slide\, and searching for the scavenger hunt.
