Description
Allison-Antrim Museum, 365 South Ridge Avenue, Greencastle, Pennsylvania 17225 will hold its monthly speaker meeting on Thursday, September 14, 2023, in the German Bank Barn beginning at 7 p.m. The facility is wheelchair accessible.
Ben Thomas will present a PowerPoint on Rescue Hose Company’s Fireman’s Carnival, also known as the Block Party, and the history of the Rescue Hose Company. The “block party” was held either along E. Madison Street or N. Washington Street when the fire station was located where the Greencastle Police Headquarters is now located at 60 N. Washington Street. The meeting begins at 7 pm in the Barn at Allison-Antrim Museum, 365 Ridge Avenue, Greencastle, PA 17225.
