The Incubators + Labs at Hagerstown Community College will host the first-ever Hagerstown Startup Week, from May 22 to 26. This free, week-long conference is designed to inspire entrepreneurship and help business leaders build momentum and gain resources. It will offer an opportunity for entrepreneurs to connect and network with both resource providers and fellow founders.
The week’s activities will kick off with the opening ceremony on Monday, May 22, at 8 a.m., in the Mama’s Biscuits Culinary Incubator at HCC. Hagerstown Startup Week will feature panel discussions, educational workshops, networking events, an Idea Pitch Competition, and a Startup Showcase, highlighting 30 companies based in Washington county.
The conference brings together Western Maryland’s inventors, makers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. Whether you are a seasoned entrepreneur or new to the community, there is space for you.
Hagerstown Startup Week is a completely free event for participants, made possible by local sponsors including Washington County Business Development, Antietam Broadband, Mama’s Biscuits, M&T Bank, TEDCO, United Bank, City of Hagerstown Department of Community and Economic Development, F&M Trust, Greater Hagerstown Committee, and Washington County Chamber of Commerce.
