Philadelphia Freedom is the quintessential tribute band to Sir Elton John. Formed in Wilkes-Barre, PA, in 2019, the band has performed hundreds of shows at theaters, festivals, and concert series across the U.S. Philadelphia Freedom brings a youthful and exceptionally energetic portrayal of Elton and his LEGENDARY band. Doug Delescavage is Elton John as he was in his 20s with his awe-inspiring piano abilities, captivating voice, and inventive fashion sense. Doug and his top-notch band rival no one but Mr. Captain Fantastic himself performing hits such as: “Rocket Man”, “Crocodile Rock”, “I’m Still Standing”, “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me”, “Bennie and the Jets”, and of course, “Philadelphia Freedom”.
