Description
Youth Basketball Camp is an All Skills Camp hosted by Coach Shreffler. Shawn Shreffler is the head boys’ basketball coach of the Chambersburg Trojans. This past season marked his 23rd year at the helm of the “Mid-Penn Commonwealth” program. Shawn’s teams have won 351 games, made 19 appearances in the district three tournament, won two district championships and qualified for states 10 times. His teams have earned the reputation of competing very hard and playing fundamentally sound basketball.
This Basketball Camp will focus on individual development of each player with emphasis on simplifying and teaching the specific court skills and movement associated with the game. Topics covered include teaching the rules of the games, shooting, passing, rebounding, dribbling and defensive skills.
For children entering 1st - 6th Grade.
