Event Manager (On-Site Team Lead)
Event managers/Team Leads are on-site from set-up to clean up, overseeing the catering staff throughout a variety of events. From large-scale to small-scale events, Leiters' caters for corporate events, training seminars, employee holiday meals, trade shows, wedding receptions, parties, church socials, memorial services, and much more.
The Event Manager is the point of contact for clients on the day of service. They are responsible for all aspects of Set-Up and Clean-Up, as stated within the Contract. This may include all food and beverage items, tables, chairs, table-services, and rentals, as needed.
Managers are expected to assist in serving guests, clearing tables, and tearing-down events. Above all, they must meet all catering needs of our Clients and their Guests.
Event Managers/Team Leads must have the ability to multitask and oversee various tasks simultaneously, as they must make sure that all catering services coordinate well together.
Event Managers/Team Leads must follow the contract instructions, as provided by the Event Coordinator, and work within a predetermined schedule.
They must be able to commit to working long hours, be able to lift heavy objects, and have strong organizational and leadership abilities.
The Event Manager is responsible for organizing and maintaining an event in its entirety.
Catering and/or Restaurant experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Job Type: Part-time - hours are on an as-needed basis

Work Location: Team Leads meet in person at our office in Downtown Hagerstown and travel to Catering Event Venues and Locations throughout the area.
