The Chambersburg YMCA is seeking dedicated, energetic and welcoming lifeguards to join our aquatics team!
The ideal Lifeguard will be dependable, patient, and have a focus on safety.
Some Lifeguard responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the supervision, safety and security of the members and program participants at all times.
- Maintaining a clean environment in and around the pool.
Some Lifeguard skills include:
- Current certifications, including CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
- Ability to relate well to individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to engage in physical activity (i.e. ability to perform rescues if necessary, etc).
- Applicants must obtain required clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, State Police Clearance, FBI Background Check).
