The Chambersburg YMCA is seeking talented, energetic and experienced swim instructors to join our aquatics team!
The ideal Swim Instructor will be dependable, patient, and have a focus on safety.
Some Swim Instructor responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the supervision, safety and security of the members and program participants at all times.
- Motivating students while promoting safety, self-confidence, a healthy lifestyle and member involvement.
- Maintaining a clean environment in and around the pool.
Some Swim Instructor qualifications include:
- Ability to relate well to individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to engage in physical activity (i.e. teaching skills in the pool, etc).
- Applicants must obtain required clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, State Police Clearance, FBI Background Check).
