Dog Walk and Contests

Description

CHAMBERSBURG – The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter will hold their nineteenth annual Dog Walk and Contests from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Chambersburg Mall on Black Gap Road. 

The event will be held rain or shine and registration begins at 9 a.m., with the walk starting at 10.
 
Participants are asked to raise money by getting sponsors for the dog walk. 
 
Sponsor sheets may be picked up at the shelter or downloaded at cvas-pets.org. All monies collected will be due on the day of the walk.
 
The canine contests will begin after the dog walk. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: best trick, best costume, best kisser and most obedient. A panel of shelter judges will choose a winner from each category.
