Since this event inception in 2008, NOVA Corporation has hosted the event and plays a huge role in this by supporting NOVA Corp’s scholarship program established to support Navajo students pursuing college degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related fields of study. The 5K Race for the Nation & 1-Mile Fun Run is also dedicated to supporting youth sports programs within the South Central Pennsylvania region. Youth sports provide a positive platform for the youth of this nation to help the children of today grow into the leaders of tomorrow. This event brings together families and friends in the spirit of competition, all while promoting health and wellness in the local community.So, you ask yourself, Why come out to participate in the 8th Annnual 5K Race for the Nation and One-Mile Fun Run?
