SHIPPENSBURG -- The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter is hosting its third annual Dog Days of Summer Carnival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 8, at the Shippensburg Township Park, 304 Britton Road.
Admission is free and the event will include games, food, vendors, a bake sale, bargains from the CVAS thrift stores and animals looking for a home.
A Pet Fashion Show will be held at 2 p.m.
A Q&A with the Pennsylvania State Police K9 Unit and a Scent Training demonstration will also be included.
