The Greencastle Exchange Club, Coldwell Banker Residential, Girl Scouts, Cedar Grove Mennonite Church, Promedica Skills Nursing & Rehabilitation, and The Cara Sheaffer Group will be on the square offering complimentary hot chocolate, cookies, popcorn and hot apple cider. The lights on the tree include Lights of Love, sponsored by Blaise Alexander Chevrolet of Greencastle, and the names of those honored will be on display on scrolls in the windows of the Cumberland Valley School of Music and Fran Kenawall State Farm Office located in Center Square. The Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share that Greencastle’s annual tree lighting ceremony, sponsored by Herald-Mail Media, is scheduled for Friday, November 19, at 7 p.m. in Center Square.
The program includes the town’s faithful Town Crier, Todd Streett, the Greencastle Mayor Ben Thomas, and WRGG Morning Show host Dr. Greg Hoover. Music will be provided by the Greencastle-Antrim High School Band and the Tri-M National Honor Society, Chapter 4755. The public is invited to sing traditional carols along with the ringing of Christmas bells, provided by Antrim Way Honda.
The annual Christmas parade organized by VerStandig Media begins at 9:21 a.m. the following morning, November 20th and courses along East Baltimore and South Carlisle Streets.
