Sock it To Me Comedy Night

Start 2019 in a fit of laughter at the SOCK IT TO ME comedy night. The name of this event “Sock It To Me” – comes from a hilarious TV show from the late 60s early 70s called “Rowan and Martin's Laugh-in”. We are tying in a sock-drive and asking everyone to bring a pair of warm socks to donate to the local shelter. Those who bring a pair will be involved in a fun activity and entered into a raffle for a prize!
Headliner Scott Bruce, Feature Mike Stankiewicz and Host Irwin Weinstein will take the stage the professional comedians will come on at 7:30 p.m. but the evening will begin at 6:30 with you! We are inviting the community and audience members to participate in some improvisational comedy to kick-off the night of laughter!

The Capitol Theatre is creating an improvisational troupe and Auditions will take place on Monday January 14th and Tuesday January 15th. Come out to SOCK IT TO ME Comedy Night and warm-up for the troupe auditions! This troupe of quick-witted, creative and energetic kooks will make up scenes and include audience members during their shows. WARNING: Adult situations and language – Troupe is not recommended for those under 16.
