Description
The Franklin County Historical Society will host its first annual World War 2 Day on Saturday, July 13 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at The Old Jail, 175 East King Street, Chambersburg.
The event will feature a WW2 exhibit, NCO print gallery, live period music, and live reenactors from the 101st Airborne.
This event is free and open to the public. Full jail tours will be available for a nominal fee.
Built in 1818, The Old Jail is the home of the Franklin County Historical Society, founded in 1898. Each year the Society serves thousands through its tours, genealogy library, events, and educational presentations.
