Dump Truck Driver

CVBA is a partnership between the Chambersburg and Greencastle-Antrim chambers of commerce.

Safely operate a commercial Tri-Axle Dump Truck equipped with a dump body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, topsoil, slate, blacktop, etc.

Must be safety minded and have a clean driving record.

Must have a current/valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B). Additional endorsements are a plus.

Must have a current/valid DOT Medical Examination Certificate.

Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment physical assessment and drug testing.

Must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement).

Must have at least 2 years of commercial dump truck driving experience.

Must be able to write clearly and be able to read and interpret written and verbal instructions and/or information and carry out instructions provided either verbally or in writing by Dispatcher.

Must have a general knowledge of large truck maintenance.

Inspect truck and equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water, and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Operate/drive truck in a safe and efficient manner at all times and obey all safety and security policies and procedures, understand all DOT safety rules and regulations, and represent the company in a professional manner.

This is considered to be a Safety-Sensitive position.

Some weekend work may be available per business need.
