We are actively seeking a Staff Engineer I | Site Design in our Chambersburg, PA office. As a Staff Engineer I | Site Design with, you will be responsible for:
- Design assistance for portions of projects
- Plan preparation - site layout, utility plans, profiles, and site details
- Preparing stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control, and other calculations/reports required for project permits and approvals
- Researching code requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- E.I.T. Certification, preferred
- Intermediate proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD and Hydraflow Storm Sewers (or other similar stormwater modeling programs)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team/collaborative environment
- Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, project management systems, etc.
- Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays
- Valid US Driver’s License is required
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
