We're a fast-paced, expanding Community Health Center looking for an LPN or MA (Medical Assistant) to join our team and help improve the wellness of our neighbors and children. Applicants must be comfortable working with infants and children as well as their parents. Also, must be comfortable administering vaccines when needed to children and infants.
Previous office nursing experience and knowledge of electronic medical record preferred. This nursing position completes many tasks such as phone calls, request medical records for new patients, referral tracking, lab and diagnosis tracking, authorization for medications as needed. Will also float to assist other nurses when needed.
Must be able to multitask, be well organized, a good team player, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.
LPN Applicants
Current PA LPN license
Current CPR /BLS certification
MA Applicants
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Current CPR/BLS certification
