Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Architect to join our team at iWAT LLC. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT professional with at least 5 years of experience who excels in designing, implementing, and overseeing complex technical systems. The Technical Architect will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of IT infrastructure and solutions, catering to the needs of small to medium-sized businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Design: Develop and implement robust IT architecture to support business objectives, including network, server, and application design.
- Technical Leadership: Lead technical projects from conception to execution, providing guidance to technical teams and ensuring alignment with client goals.
- System Integration: Design and oversee the integration of various systems and technologies, ensuring interoperability and scalability.
- Troubleshooting and Optimization: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across networks, servers, and applications, optimizing system performance.
- Security Implementation: Design and implement secure systems, adhering to industry standards and best practices to protect client data and infrastructure.
- Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to assess their technical needs and propose tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for architecture, processes, and configurations.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and provide recommendations to improve systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT roles, with a strong focus on technical architecture, system integration, and IT infrastructure.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of networking, server environments (Windows and Linux), virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud solutions.
- Security Knowledge: Proficiency in implementing IT security frameworks and best practices.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical issues and design effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage projects effectively.
