Perform powder coating of trailer parts and trailers.
Job Responsibilities
Actively observe and promote BWISE Trailers safety standards.
Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application
Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems
Determine paint flow and coating quality for efficient application
Check for dirt and water prior to parts entering primer booth
Caulk required seams of parts exiting dry-off oven
Maintain production requirements
Operate equipment safely
Ensure equipment is maintained for efficient powder paint application
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Be sure to turn off fans prior to leaving at the end of the shift
Other duties, as assigned by Department ManagerPhysical Demands & Work Environment
Must be capable of standing for entire shift and sit for extended periods of time.
Able to lift-up to 50 lbs.; ability to demonstrate full range of motion for reaching, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
Will be exposed to extreme heat and cold depending on weather.
Subject to dirt, dust, oil, welding fumes, traffic hazards, and high noise levels in the workplace

Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read, write, count, and communicate by various channels.
