JOB SUMMARY:
Operate band saws to cut mild steel shapes by performing the following.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow Clock IN/OUT instructions, report labor accurately.
Actively observe and promote BWise safety standards.
Follow schedule given by Production Control.
Verify correct material to the work order.
Perform first piece inspections as well as spot check at intervals for length and angles, (squareness) using various measuring tools, IE: tape measure, protractor, square, etc..
Have correct number of parts per order.
Write full part number and Bin location on tag and affix it to the bottom part.
Deburr all parts that got to machine shop.
Other duties as assigned by Fab. Supervisor
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting, bending and squatting frequently.
Standing for 8-10 hours daily.
Lifting heavy steel parts.
